Reaching the Physical Peak of Sports? Compelling evidence supporting Sport Psychology

This article was forwarded to me from Evan Nesterak from The Psych Report. The article explores the data which indicates that humans are close to reaching the evolutionary peak of physical sport performance. Which begs the question, where will athletes turn to find an advantage? I think I have an idea.

Compelling evidence supporting the decision to play multiple sports.

"Of the 128 quarterbacks surveyed -- 73 active, 55 retired -- 123 played at least two sports in high school (95 percent). About 60 percent played three or more. Five backups (Matt Flynn, Matt Barkley, Tom Savage, Aaron Murray and Zach Mettenberger) were the only respondents to report single-sport participation."
